2022-12-04 He wants to be reinstated as president and calls for Constitution to be scrapped. (The Independent, among many others) 2022-02-25 [...] on the eve of Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Trump described Putin as "savvy" and a "genius." Details here: Snopes.com 2021-06-06 • First week of June, 2021: At a QAnon conference in Dallas, Michael Flynn (on video) answered the question "I wanna know why what happened in Minimar [Myanmar] can't happen here". He said: "No reason. I mean… it should happen here. No reason." Later he tweeted that media had fabricated his reply: "I am no stranger to media manipulating my words and therefore let me repeat my response to a question asked at the conference: There is no reason it (a coup) should happen here (in America)." - People like Flynn know exactly that what they are doing is evil. "You know, Nazis were the National Socialist Party. Just like the Democrats are now a national socialist party." said Marjorie Taylor Greene a few days after she had made another comparison, namely that "vaccinated employees get a vaccination logo just like the Nazi's forced Jewish people to wear a gold star" and, on a different occasion, saying: "You know, we can look back at a time in history where people were told to wear a gold star, and they were definitely treated like second class citizens, so much so that they were put in trains and taken to gas chambers in Nazi Germany. And this is exactly the type of abuse that Nancy Pelosi is talking about." A federal judge overturned California's ban on assault weapons which has been in effect since 1989. He said: "Like the Swiss Army Knife, the popular AR-15 rifle is a perfect combination of home defense weapon and homeland defense equipment. […] Firearms deemed as 'assault weapons' are fairly ordinary, popular, modern rifles. 2021-01-07 Yesterday afternoon, the Loser's mob, incited by him, stormed and ransacked the Capitol in Washington, D.C., while Congress was in joint session to count and certify the electoral votes. Members had to be evacuated or hidden in the building. The Loser tweeted: Jan 6th 2021 - 6:01:04 PM EST And in a video message, he reassured his mob: I know your pain. I know you're hurt. We had an election that was stolen from us. It was a landslide election, and everyone knows it, especially the other side, but you have to go home now. We have to have peace. We have to have law and order. We have to respect our great people in law and order. We don't want anybody hurt. It's a very tough period of time. There's never been a time like this where such a thing happened, where they could take it away from all of us, from me, from you, from our country. This was a fraudulent election, but we can't play into the hands of these people. We have to have peace. So go home. We love you. You're very special. You've seen what happens. You see the way others are treated that are so bad and so evil. I know how you feel. But go home and go home at peace. 2021-01-04 He can't get over it. With 17 days to go as president, he called the Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R) (who was alert enough to flip the recording switch): So look. All I want to do is this. I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have. Because we won the state. 2020-12-16 Two days ago, the Electoral College voted: Biden 306; the other one 232. This time, they respected the popular vote. 'The other one' still rants about having won the election by a lot, but even Mitch McConnell stopped listening. So he might sign a few more death warrants - being responsible for the worst outburst of executive murder in 130 years. Or pardon some more of his cronies, including, perhaps, himself and his spawn. (Noam Chomsky called him "the worst criminal in human history".) 2020-11-07 Nov 7th 2020 - 4:54:48 PM EST You're fired! Biden/Harris: ~76 million. (The bad news is, that even now at least 80 million didn't vote at all.) 2020-11-03 Election Day. 2020-09-27 He keeps repeating his unfounded claim that mail-in ballots are inherently fraudulent and that the only way he could lose the election on Nov.3rd would be by it being rigged, which amounts to destroying the process of a fair and free election, reducing the US to something like Belarus: Lukashenko gets elected. Period. 2020-08-27 Very briefly for the record: Last Sunday, August 23, Jacob Blake, a Black man in Kenosha, WI, was shot in the back seven times at point-blank range by officer Rusten Sheskey after an as yet unknown altercation and attempt to arrest him, while he was leaning into his car where three of his children waited and got their dad shot before their eyes. Protests broke out. White vigilantes appeared, and one of them, 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse, killed two people with his assault rifle before walking calmly toward the police lines where he was not arrested, nor shot in the back, but received a matter-of-fact welcome. (There is, again, extensive video footage. A day or so later, Rittenhouse was arrested for first-degree homicide in his home in Illinois; the officer is on 'administrative leave'.) 2020-08-15 I've written about democracy and freedom, so I should perhaps complete the trilogy and add a few words about justice and the law:
2020-07-31 Democracy in America - 185 years after Tocqueville:
"We're the only advanced democracy that deliberately discourages people from voting." Barack Obama Consequently, the US ranks 57th on the "Electoral Integrity Index". 2020-07-30 So there's this doctor, Stella Immanuel MD, a Houston-based pediatrician, who knows the causes for Covid-19 and the cure, too. The causes involve Alien DNA and demon sperm, if I've got it right. Reptilians are running parts of the government (Whovians like me know that already), and evil scientists are working on a vaccine to prevent people from becoming religious. Masks are no good. The cure is hydroxycloroquine. The Shmuck-in-chief loved it (so did his Junior). "Spectacular", he said, "very respected doctor, "an important voice". Where are we? 2020-06-26 Wearing a mask is reasonable and should be done even without explicit orders. Now some Ultra Stupid Americans turned wearing a mask into a political (!) statement: I am not wearing a mask. Masks are for socialist wimps. I'm not afraid of this Chinese virus. This is a free country. You can't tell me what to do. It's called freedom and liberty. And the President isn't wearing a mask, so I am not either. Or so the argument goes. Indeed, the president fears he might look ridiculous with a mask. Some of us think he looks ridiculous even without one. But be that as it may. The point here is that not wearing a mask gives you a sense of freedom. You're not to be told what to do; you insist on being an inividual with individual rights. Your underlying feeling, though, that your rights have been taken away is correct. You are clinging to what's left, like wearing a gun rather than a mask. Other than that, you are paying the taxes so the rich don't have to; you live from paycheck to paycheck and if anything happens you lose your house, your car, your job; your insurance company tells you what they will cover in case you're sick; if you don't have insurance you're free to die anyway; many of you can't afford college for their kids; and in California - the fifth-largest economy on earth!- people are waiting in the summer heat for seven hours to get a box of groceries from the food bank... ...And NO, this is not normal! It is not the way a rich and civilized country works. It is not the way a free country works. They tell you it's worse elsewhere. No, it is not. Not in Europe, not in Canada, not in Japan, for example. So, if you make it an issue of your individual freedom to defy reason and to help that virus to spread by not wearing a mask, then you are like a child who has his fairy-tale view of the world and, as mentioned above, thinks that freedom is rebellion, and has no notion of adult free cooperation. (On this video you can watch children between the ages of 5 and 15 who look like adults but aren't. Then again, all of this might just be abysmal stupidity.) Today, the US had 50,000 new Corona cases, record numbers the fifth day in a row. The economy isn't doing too well, the president is a gangster, law enforcement isn't working because officers don't know what to do and walk off the job when they're asked to stop killing people. The Lt.Governor of Texas, being the complete idiot that he is, tells the media he is "done listening to Dr. Fauci"; the Florida Governor, intellectually challenged to the same degree, thinks masks are less important than opening bars and restaurants to the virus. Stupidity (or childishness) got us into this mess. Will it get us out? 2020-05-28 In 2014, Eric Garner, NYC, was killed by officer Daniel Pantaleo who locked him in a chokehold until he suffocated. Pantaleo was fired in 2019 (!) but never brought to court. In 2016, Philando Castile, St.Paul, MN, was killed by officer Jeronimo Yanez who fired seven rounds at close range into the victim's car and was acquitted of all charges. A few days ago (2020-05-25), George Floyd, Minneapolis, MN, was killed by an as yet unnamed officer who throttled him to death by pressing his knee into the side of the prostrate victim's neck for more than seven minutes. Bystanders repeatedly told the officer to desist. Three other officers were involved in the incident. All four were fired (but the way things are, they will probably never be convicted). There is video footage of all three killings and/or the time immediately thereafter. Between January 2011 and December 2019 a total of 3768 suspects were killed by law enforcement officers in the United States (that is about 11.4 per million population or 377 per year). Canada (same time span): 97, (about 2.55 per million; 9.7 per year); Update 2020-05-30: There have been violent protests, arson, looting, in Minneapolis and other cities for several nights now. The usual counter-violence. Understandable and completely futile. Just savagery against savagery. And the officials once again extend their laments and condolences to the victim's family and offer prayers. Also, those same officials cannot deliver a single press conference without mentioning that the whole world is somehow affected and the whole world is watching. We, the world, are watching because parts of the United States are a fucking freak show. The Freak-in-chief resorts to 1960's Jim Crow language and tweets "When the looting starts, the shooting starts". On May 29, the investigating special agent and the prosecuting attorney filed a statement of probable cause against ex-officer Derek Chauvin that is so crappy they didn't even get the victim's name right (referring to him as Mr. Lloyd twice). It seems, though, as if Chauvin had his knee on Mr. Floyd's neck for eight minutes and forty-six seconds, Floyd being unresponsive for almost three minutes at the end of that time. Chauvin was subsequently arrested and charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter. He had 17 complaints on his record already, including fatally shooting one suspect and involvement in the killing of another. A good officer, apparently. Nothing, by the way, about the other three: Tou Thao, J. Alexander Kueng, and Thomas Lane. The county medical examiner performed an autopsy, detected "no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxiation or strangulation", and came to the conclusion that "the combined effects of Mr. Floyd being restrained by the police, his underlying health conditions and any potential intoxicants in his system likely contributed to his death". (Ah, yes, before I forget: The Liar-in-chief threatened to close down Twitter for adding a cautionary note to his lies about mail-in ballots. Twitter slapped him a second time for inciting violence in the abovementioned looting-shooting-tweet. He proclaims to be the best president the US ever had while the Corona death toll soars past 100,000 due to his early negligence. He still upholds that the virus will simply go away. And he thinks playing golf is a suitable way to express his compassion which, of course, goes to show that he has none whatsoever.) Update 2020-06-04: Speaking of compassion and the complete lack thereof: Peaceful protesters in front of the White House were violently cleared out with tear gas and rubber bullets so he could walk across the street to a photo-op at St.John's Episcopal Church in front of which he posed holding up a bible. Bishop Mariann Budde (among other church officials) was livid:Let me be clear, the President just used a Bible, the most sacred text of the Judeo-Christian tradition, and one of the churches of my diocese, without permission, as a backdrop for a message antithetical to the teachings of Jesus. Prior to that, he had apparently been escorted to hunker in his bunker for a while, so now he had to do something grand and manly as could be expected from a delinquent brat. Jun 2, 2020 08:19:45 AM D.C. had no problems last night. Many arrests. Great job done by all. Overwhelming force. Domination. Likewise, Minneapolis was great (thank you President Trump!). His former defense secretary General James Mattis was disgusted and let him have it: When I joined the military, some 50 years ago, I swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution. Never did I dream that troops taking that same oath would be ordered under any circumstance to violate the Constitutional rights of their fellow citizens-much less to provide a bizarre photo op for the elected commander-in-chief, with military leadership standing alongside. A couple of hours before these events, arch-conservative columnist George Will had written:This unraveling presidency began with the Crybaby-in-Chief banging his spoon on his highchair tray to protest a photograph - a photograph - showing that his inauguration crowd the day before had been smaller than the one four years previous. Since then, this weak person's idea of a strong person, this chest-pounding advertisement of his own gnawing insecurities, this low-rent Lear raging on his Twitter-heath has proven that the phrase malignant buffoon is not an oxymoron. (My hat's off to you, sir.) Now, back to the murder of George Floyd. A final autopsy report was published by the county medical examiner. Mr. Floyd's family had requested a second, independent autopsy which - in flat contradiction to the abovementioned complaint (statement of probable cause) - came to the conclusion that asphyxia by prolonged pressure to the neck was indeed the cause of death: "There is evidence in this case of mechanical or traumatic asphyxia". They also determined that Mr. Floyd was in good health otherwise. Shortly after (!) this report the county medical examiner concurred that the death of Mr. Floyd was a homicide. The charges against Derek Chauvin were upgraded to second-degree murder and the other three officers Thao, Kueng, and Lane, were arrested and charged with aiding and abetting second-degree murder which has the same penal consequences as the murder itself. Do I believe they will be convicted? Not until it happens. Update 2020-06-06: That new wall around the White House seems to be coming along just great. (Perhaps a sign could be added on the outside: Closed Psychiatric Ward. No Visitors!) Two police officers in Buffalo, NY, pushed a 75-year-old man to the ground and left him there in serious condition, bleeding profusely from a head wound. One officer was held back trying to help him. There were at least two dozen officers present. Finally, someone in military fatigues stooped to look after the man. The two officers were suspended without pay and subsequently the other 57 officers of the 'Emergency Response Team' resigned from that team in support of them. American police officers are at war with the people they are supposed 'to protect and to serve'. It is extremely unlikely that all of them are simply assholes. So, what is wrong? My guess is: wrong training, wrong orders; and - more than a guess - the systemic violence that has been a defining characteristic of this country from its beginning, combined with a speechlessness that would sooner hit than talk - of which the twitler-in-chief is a prime example, given that his English is inferior to that of an average high school dropout. Update: 2020-06-08: As mentioned above, police seem to be at war with people and have been militarized over the past decades. And since the press is covering police violence against protesters extensively, the dramatic increase of severe attacks on journalists shouldn't come as a surprise. Update: 2020-06-11: 1. Oops, we must have overlooked something:Jun 9, 2020 07:34:39 AM Buffalo protester shoved by Police could be an ANTIFA provocateur. 75 year old Martin Gugino was pushed away after appearing to scan police communications in order to black out the equipment. @OANN I watched, he fell harder than was pushed. Was aiming scanner. Could be a set up? 2. House Democrats set forth a pretty comprehensive bill to regulate police. A GOP answer: Jun 9, 2020 07:11:45 AM RT @GOP: "We can't give up the finest law enforcement anywhere in the world. There's nothing like it." -@realDonaldTrump https://t.co/cNDdQ… You guys are clueless about the world, right? Then let me tell you: Yours is, in fact, the worst law enforcement in any operational democracy "anywhere in the world". [Some additional numbers here and here.] 3. After the burial in Houston, the CNN ticker said: "Floyd remembered as man who will change the world". 4. Retired NBA player Jalen Rose said on CNN today: 2020-05-06 So, Ivanka Trump wrote a book (The Trump Card: Playing to Win in Work and Life. NY: Touchstone, 2009). Here's a quote from it: Perception is more important than reality. If someone perceives something to be true, it is more important than if it is in fact true. […] Like breeds like. 2020-04-27 At a Corona press conference a couple of days ago, he suggested looking into the possibility of curing Covid-19 by injecting a disinfectant. (Lysol promptly issued a warning.) Does he need help in the morning to button his shirt and tie his shoelaces? Would a dog drink from a bowl of Clorox? And why do some of His followers have to call Poison Control centers? 2020-02-03 Long pause. Here's some of what happened in the meantime. He withdrew troops from northern Syria, thus throwing his long-standing Kurdish allies under the bus, who are now under attack from Erdogan. He got impeached by the House, and will likely be acquitted by the Senate come Wednesday because the GOP Senators are either morons, or cowards, or gangsters. Two days ago he reversed the 2014 restrictions on landmines for the American Forces, thus withdrawing from another treaty signed by over 100 nations. In the middle of his senate impeachment trial, he and Bibi Netanyahu (who was formally indicted for bribery and corruption just hours before) presented their "Deal Of The Century" regarding a Palestinian state, peace, and prosperity in the region: • Jerusalem shall be "Israels undivided capital". • Palestinian leaders were not involved in any way. It all sounds so strangely familiar. Ah yes, Indian Reservations… Two crooks completely insane. 2019-09-07 For almost a week - and while hurricane Dorian utterly obliterated the northern Bahamas - #45 insisted that it would hit Alabama. NWS (National Weather Service) said otherwise, but he presented a doctored map in the Oval Office showing him to be right... Then - brace yourselves! - NOAA (National Atmospheric and Oceanographic Agency) issued a statement backing him against their own NWS. Future weather reports (and possibly all other scientific communications) should include a caveat: "Subject to presidential approval". 2019-08-21 He wants to make a real estate deal: Buying Greenland. And he canceled a long planned-visit to Denmark after the Danish Prime Minister and the Greenlanders told him in no uncertain terms that it was not for sale. Denmark is a very special country with incredible people, but based on Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen's comments, that she would have no interest in discussing the purchase of Greenland, I will be postponing our meeting scheduled in two weeks for another time.... 11:51 PM - Aug 20, 2019 2019-07-29 On a visit to the Southern border, Rep. Elijah Cummings (Dem.) had taken exception to the way detention facilities are run. Jul 28, 2019 02:18:20 PM If racist Elijah Cummings would focus more of his energy on helping the good people of his district, and Baltimore itself, perhaps progress could be made in fixing the mess that he has helped to create over many years of incompetent leadership. 04:14 - 27. Juli 2019 ....As proven last week during a Congressional tour, the Border is clean, efficient & well run, just very crowded. Cumming District is a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess. The Baltimore Sun responded on Saturday: "Better to have a few rats than to be one." Jul 14, 2019 07:27:52 AM So interesting to see "Progressive" Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly...... Reps. Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.), Ayanna Pressley (Mass.) and Rashida Tlaib (Mich.). All except Omar born in the US. 2019-07-01 The creep-in-chief is a symptom, not a cause. One aspect of the causes might be this: Marshae Jones was five months pregnant when another woman, Ebony Jemison, shot her in the stomach, in an Alabama town called Pleasant Grove. The 27-year-old Jones survived but the foetus, hit by the bullet, did not. Jemison successfully pleaded self-defence, since her gun was drawn in the middle of a fight that Jones reportedly started and was winning - according to an unnamed police source - until the gun was fired. Subsequently Ms. Jones (!) was indicted for manslaughter of her unborn child. In Alabama, a fetus is a person and the argument was that she had intentionally caused the death of her unborn child by initiating a fight. In other words, if you shoot and kill a person that did not attack you but happened to be inside another person who did, you go free because you still acted in self defense. If, on the other hand, you put a (fetal) person in a situation where it might be killed, you are guilty of manslaughter. Alabama women should be advised not to do anything that might endanger their unborn babies such as "intentionally" driving a car or taking out the heavy garbage. What about a woman who is subjected to domestic violence during pregnancy? And if Ms. Jones goes to prison, her 6-year-old daughter will be deprived of her right to have a mom. The general idea seems to be that the unborn 'person' is protected, but once you're born you're fucked. Update, July 4th, 2019: 2019-02-27 Outrage fatigue... Gotta take a break.2019-01-10 He wants his border wall. Like a three-year-old wants a lolly. The Dems control the House now, and when Nancy Pelosi said no, he got up and walked out of the meeting. I want my wall. He holds 800.000 government workers and their families hostage in what is soon going to be the longest government shutdown in American history. I want my wall. He delivers his first ever prime time address out of the Oval Office in which he brazenly lies to the nation. I want my wall. 2018-11-20 The Liar-in-chief had this to say about California wildfires: I was with the president of Finland and he said, 'We have a much different -we're a forest nation.' He called it a forest nation, and they spent a lot of time on raking and cleaning and doing things. And they don't have any problem. And when they do, it's a very small problem. The Finnish president does not recall talking about raking and cleaning and doing things. The Finns, however, are enthusiastic. Here's the Rake News: We indeed have the best rakes in the world. They are really great. No other country has as good rakes as we do. We rake Finland great again. When asked once again about climate change, the Nitwit-in-chief told reporters: I have a strong opinion: I want great climate, we're going to have that [...] By executive order, probably. Only days after demanding 'decorum' from journalists, the Expletive-in-chief called Congressman Adam Schiff "Little Adam Schitt" in one of his tweets. No apology for a typo after two days, so it seems fair to assume that it wasn't one. 2018-10-26 Impossible to keep up with the sheer amount of insanity. Kavanaugh. Khashoggi. MBS. The Caravan. Pipe bombs delivered to (among others) Obama and Clinton. And on and on it goes. I found a 1920s quote from H.L. Mencken: As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron. 2018-09-25 • In a speech before the United Nations General Assembly he started bragging about his accomplishments. And the United Nations laughed at him. He replied he had not expected this reaction. And the United Nations laughed some more. • Later he claimed he had "intended to get some laughter". • In a twitter video he said about hurricane Florence: "This is a tough hurricane. One of the wettest we've ever seen from the standpoint of water." 2018-09-08 It is bedlam! Bob Woodward - a respected journalist who has written books about a number of presidents - came out with one about #45: "FEAR: Trump in the White House", where he relates that documents are being removed from the president's desk lest he sign them and wreak (even more) havoc. And where he quotes James Mattis (Sec. of Defense) as calling him "unhinged" and "an idiot", John Kelly (Chief of Staff): "[he] has the understanding of a fifth- or sixth-grader", and John Dowd (his ex-lawyer) calling him "a fucking liar" and advising him against testifying before Robert Muller, because he would be unable not to perjure himself, and thus would end up in an "orange jump suit". A couple days later, an anonymous Op-Ed appeared in the NY Times in which a "senior official in the Trump administration" writes: Now #45 desperately wants to know who wrote that, and ordered Jeff Sessions and the FBI to find out. Except that in a democracy the DOJ and the FBI are not to be used to crack down on an anonymous writer or political adversary. For that you'd need something like the SA or the Gestapo. Kim Jong-Un and Putin could possibly help him out with the details. Obama socked it to him, finally!, in a speech given at the U of Illinois yesterday. #45 retaliated immediately at a rally in Fargo, ND, where he also took two shots at pronouncing the word "anonymous" and failed both times. At a rally in Montana, a day earlier, a high school student in a plaid shirt stood right behind him in full view of the camera, and, having made a few astonished and slightly skeptical faces, was replaced by a good-looking and properly enthusiastic girl. A minute later, his two friends (with Trump caps on!) were escorted out as well. 2018-08-05 Somebody in one of the shadier corners of the web calls himself "Q", claims that he has the highest security clearance and provides "breadcrumbs" (enigmatic clues) to the "bakers" (the growing community of people that are to bake a cake out of the crumbs, I suppose). The U.S. is just the place for something like that to gain momentum. And so it does. They have their own lingo, their own symbols, and their motto seems to be "WWG1WGA" (Where we go one, we go all). "Q Anon" is not exactly a conspiracy theory, but a salvation theory: And the Savior is #45 who is a determined and cunning genius fighting for the Good. His overt insane behavior is a camouflage to distract his enemies (therefore this overt behavior does not matter, and he can do whatever he wants). Underneath however, he - here comes the conspiracy - is fighting a heroic battle against the "deep state", against the enemy "MSM" (main stream media), and against a huge underground pedophile sex trafficking ring headed by Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and George Soros. Simultaneously, Vladimir Putin fights against the Illuminati and the Jewish bankers' satanic cult. Soon someone is going to find out that 45's middle name is not John after all. It is Jesus. And he came back under a disguise to distract the devil. And there will be Armageddon. Any day now. Just a pastime for people who eat their boogers? Amalgamated imbecillity? 2018-07-13 His visit to the UK was so terrible that he made Theresa May look like a good politician. No Tardis in sight, though. Where the hell is the Doctor?? 2018-07-02 He does not know how trade works. He does not know how NATO works. He does not know how cooperation works or what it means for that matter. He does not know his ass from a hole in the ground. And of course he does not know how democracy works. Nor does he care. His idea is to run an administration like a 'reality' TV-show - including a suitable definition of 'reality': He counts on his lies becoming truths if he simply repeats them over and over again. He sucks up to Putin and Kim Jong-Un, probably having wet dreams about the way the latter deals with people who fail to show enough enthusiastic admiration, while treating his democratic 'allies' like enemies. Steve Schmidt, a high-ranking GOP strategist and an outspoken critic of #45, quit the party a few days ago. 2018-06-30 Deimocracy Scene: Many western industrialized societies. Karl Kraus wrote in 1914: I fully understand that every so often marketplaces must be transformed into battlegrounds so that they can become marketplaces once again. 2018-06-22 So Flotus visited one of the detention facilities for children at the border. CNN (among others) reports: As the first lady boarded her plane from Andrews Air Force Base, she wore an olive green jacket. The back of the jacket read: "I really don't care. Do u?" in white graffiti-style lettering. Trump was not wearing the jacket when she landed in McAllen, Texas. She re-donned the jacket and wore it when she deplaned back at Andrews Air Force Base despite the media storm that had erupted over her initial wearing. Indeed, there is no hidden message. The message is obvious: She is a few bricks shy of a full load which, in combination with an impressive degree of moral indifference, makes her a truly befitting spouse to her husband. 2018-06-21 At a rally in Minnesota he said yesterday: You ever notice that they call the other side the elite. The elite. Why are they elite? I have a much better apartment than they do. I'm smarter than they are. I'm richer than they are. The pot calling the kettle black. The mother of all elites is anti-elitist. What he is referring to, by the way, is not an apartment. It is a psychiatric diagnosis. Back in October 2016, Robert de Niro said this: I mean, he's so blatantly stupid. He's a punk. He's a dog. He's a pig. He's a con. He's a bullshit artist. A mutt who doesn't know what he's talking about, doesn't do his homework, doesn't care, thinks he's gaming society, doesn't pay his taxes. He's an idiot. Colin Powell said it best: He's a national disaster. He's an embarrassment to this country. It makes me so angry that this country has gotten to the point that this fool, this bozo, has wound up where he has. He talks how he wants to punch people in the face. Well, I'd like to punch him in the face. This is someone that we want for president? I don't think so. What I care about is the direction of this country, and what I'm very, very worried about is that it might go in the wrong direction with someone like Donald Trump. If you care about your future, vote for it. ... and the Minnesota crowd cheers almost two years later, and it keeps getting worse. 2018-06-20 More than two thousand children have been separated from their parents upon their illegal entry into the U.S. and held in detention centers. On a - verified - audio recording they are crying for their moms and dads. A Border Patrol agent is heard saying in Spanish: "Well, we have an orchestra here, right?" and "What we're missing is a conductor." Is he trying to make a heinous cruelty more bearable to the children? Or to himself? Or is he someone like his president, like Ann Coulter who suggested the kids are actors, like Jeff Sessions and Sarah Huckabee Sanders who abused the Bible to justify it? I have no words. No satirical spark. Only an image:
2018-05-25 Just came across a word I had never heard: "Herstory", meaning "History" form a feminist perspective. OK, a few more to go: histology, histrionic, hispanic, hissy, histamine, histogram. I'm putting this in here even if it has nothing to do with #45. The reason being: How stupid can you get? Ah, it does have something to do with him. 2018-05-20 He broke the Iran "Deal". And threatens to impose sanctions on the EU and other nations if they uphold the treaty and continue to do business with Iran. At the same time, he wants to negotiate denuclearization of North Korea with Kim Jong Un - and 18 Republican members of Congress have already nominated him for the Nobel Peace Prize. "Moron" is an understatement at this point. The new ambassador to Germany, Richard Grenell, an Ex-Fucks-News-commentator, presented himself accordingly. Upon his arrival in Berlin, he tweeted: As @realDonaldTrump said, US sanctions will target critical sectors of Iran's economy. German companies doing business in Iran should wind down operations immediately. 2018-03-17 He fired his Secretary of State via Twitter! And he had the deputy director of the FBI - who had already stepped down in January - fired two days before his retirement. It does take an uncommon degree of viciousness to do something like that. 2018-02-14 Valentine's Day. 17 dead in high school shooting in Florida. Talking to the NRA - or this president - about guns is like talking to the drug cartels about drugs. Nah, let's be serious: We could make high schools into high security schools. Armed guards at the locked double doors, metal detectors, and body searches. Teachers must complete a yearly firearms drill and carry a weapon while on duty. Let us thus honor the American values the NRA stands for.
Update: 2018-02-21: The Independent (UK):
Florida state lawmakers have rejected a bill that would ban assault rifles, less than a week after 17 people were killed in a shooting at a Florida high school.
The Florida House voted 36-71 against a motion to consider legislation to outlaw assault rifles and large capacity magazines, effectively killing the bill for the time-being [...] Show the victims how much you care.
Update: 2018-02-22:
Yesterday #45 held a "listening session with high school students and teachers" at the White House. One student - a single one! - timidly brought up the issue that it wasn't right for a civilian like himself to be able to buy "weapons of war". He got no support whatsoever. None! Zilch! The proposed solutions involved mental institutions, fortified schools and armed teachers. "You would no longer have a gun-free zone" said #45 [@52:25]. More guns to fight gun violence. More water to fight flooding. At this point my own idea of a solution involves mental institutions as well. Mr. Wayne La Pierre, NRA, has a simple equation: 2018-01-20 [Jan 20, 2018 01:51:24 PM] Beautiful weather all over our great country, a perfect day for all Women to March. Get out there now to celebrate the historic milestones and unprecedented economic success and wealth creation that has taken place over the last 12 months. Lowest female unemployment in 18 years! One year after his inauguration, the government has shut down. But he maketh the weather nice all over the country for women to parade rejoicing and adoring him who grabbeth pussy. 2018-01-12 [Jan 6, 2018 07:27:42 AM] ....Actually, throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart. [...] I went from VERY successful businessman, to top T.V. Star.....
[Jan 2, 2018 07:49:19 PM] North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the "Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times." Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!
CNN (and many others): On Thursday [Jan.11], in a meeting with a senators and House members on immigration, the President of the United States, asked this: "Why do we want all these people from 'shithole countries' coming here?" 2017-12-29 One should not poke fun at older folks' physical ailments. #45 delivered a speech in which he slurred words and made very slight suction movements as if he was wearing loose-fitting dentures. Unfit presidenture. He's been lying through his fake teeth. (The White House said he had a "dry throat" whereas Andy Borowitz assumes that the slurring occurred due to low batteries in Putin's remote which I think is far more likely.) 2017-12-17 The Trump administration is prohibiting officials at the nation's top public health agency [CDC] from using a list of seven words or phrases [...] in official documents being prepared for next year's budget. [...] "Curiouser and curiouser". Dangerouser and dangerouser. 2017-12-16 Imagine you are trying to call a friend living abroad or in another area in the U.S., and you can't get through. It seems strange because you never had any connection problems before. When you finally reach the person, sound quality is absolutely lousy, you can hardly understand a word. Or imagine, you're switching to your favorite TV-show on your cable and suddenly the image is choppy. When you call your cable company, they tell you that you can pay extra to get a premium connection without these problems which were, as you realize now, created intentionally. Or your telephone company simply wants to hurt a competitor in another area, so there is nothing you can do. Unthinkable? Not so. That is exactly what is now allowable concerning your use of the internet. Net neutrality is about equal access to the internet for everyone. Nothing may be blocked or slowed down that you would ordinarily have unhindered access to. Now the FCC shitcanned that. ISPs (Internet Service Providers) are free to do whatever they want as far as their services are concerned. Ajit Pai, head of the FCC and handpicked by #45, undid President Obama's 2015 regulations. Pai's position is that the internet thrived prior to these regulations, therefore they are an obstacle to further development. This kind of cynical lying should be made a federal offense. These neo-con artists make me sick! 2017-12-13 Garrison Keillor, ex-host of "A Prairie Home Companion" and my all-time favorite storyteller, has been accused of sexual misconduct. The person who came forward immediately with details about a minor incident was - Garrison Keillor himself. Minnesota Public Radio (MPR), having become famous because of Keillor, fired him on the spot: all contracts terminated, no rebroadcasts of the show, show gets a name change. The Washington Post followed suit and cancelled his weekly column. (Their motto is "Democracy Dies In Darkness". That's exactly what it's been doing for some time now, and in this particular instance WashPost is helping!) Meanwhile, #45 ties firecrackers to cats' tails like a six-year-old brat (Jerusalem, North Korea). And he, whose mental condition has been discussed openly of late, achieves - if nothing else - to make USA Today really livid: A president who'd all but call a senator a whore is unfit to clean toilets in Obama's presidential library or to shine George W. Bush's shoes […] Strong words, the likes of which I have never read about a sitting president in a newspaper. Good words. Necessary words.2017-09-04 Just like the sane part of the American population, 800,000 "Dreamers" are waking up to a nightmare. It seems that this president's main goal is to undo each and every act of his predecessor who had granted children of illegal immigrants, having arrived in the US with their parents, a renewable right to stay in the country under the DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) program. Most of them are as American as apple pie by now, they pay taxes and some of them serve(d) in the military, but Attorney Degenerate Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III says they are taking away American jobs. Europe should urgently recall their scientists lest they take away American research positions. To top it off, #45 says he loves the Dreamers and passes the buck to Congress to come up with a solution in six months, or else… Adding to that his way of dealing with the other superjerk, Kim Jong-Un, and adding Hurricane Harvey which made the state of Texas realize that the Federal Government needs to be strong enough after all to cough up 150 billion for reconstruction of the Lone Star, I tend to believe that we have finally arrived at the one place where such events occur, as it were, naturally: the Twilight Zone. 2017-08-18 If stupidity got us into this mess, then why can't it get us out? 2017-08-17 A horde of neo-Nazis and white supremacists marched with torches through the campus of Charlottesville, VA. The next day, prior to a planned rally, one of their supporters ran his car into a group of counter protesters, killing one and wounding 19. In a statement delivered out of his NYC tower, #45 found "blame on both sides", thus placing Nazis on the same moral level as their victims. By the same token he might have said that the Jews must have done something wrong to end up in Auschwitz. The whole thing has been on the news for days on end now, and sometimes I think it's all a clever ploy by the mainstream media to keep everyone busy with something preventing #45 to continue instigating war with North Korea. Like holding a rattle up to a toddler to distract him from pulling down the table cloth with everything on it. This president does not give a hoot about the Republican Party whose constituents voted for him. He does not seem to give a hoot about his own family (notably his Jewish son-in-law and his daughter), about right or wrong, about any kind of moral principle, or for that matter about American history - which he probably does not even understand. What he cares about only and exclusively, is himself. 2017-07-28 So Reince Priebus and Sean Spicer resigned. And Anthony Scaramucci appeared as WH communications director. In a New Yorker interview he said on the record: Reince is a fucking paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac. [...] Welcome to the Untied States of America. 2017-06-30 Jun 29, 2017 07:52:17 AM I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don't watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came.. One wonders how Melania's campaign against cyber-bullying is coming along. And whether this freakish troll thinks he is going to get the Senate votes for his health care bill by raising a shitstorm even among Republicans. 2017-06-03 2017-06-02 The NY Times: President Trump announced [yesterday] that the United States would withdraw from the Paris climate accord, weakening efforts to combat global warming and embracing isolationist voices in his White House who argued that the agreement was a pernicious threat to the economy and American sovereignty. The president shamefully abandons the fight against humanity's greatest threat. [...] Any rational, responsible business leader, faced with an existential threat to his enterprise, would take steps to manage the risk. With his decision to leave the Paris climate accord, President Donald Trump is putting the lie to one of his central claims: that he would run the country like a business. A madman at the helm. A couple of days ago, he tweeted: Despite the constant negative press covfefe That was all. End of message. He deleted it after 9 (!) hours. When the press asked Sean Spicer about "covfefe", Spicer said: "The president and a small group of people know exactly what he meant". Two points of importance here: 1. Spicer brazenly and idiotically lies to the press, and 2. this administration will never admit to any mistake or wrongdoing, be it ever so small. 2017-05-30 This unspeakable president's first visit to Europe was a disaster. He does not understand how NATO works, hence he thinks they owe "large sums" to the U.S. and lectures to the other NATO leaders as if they were unruly school children. Likewise he does not know how trade works and calls the Germans "bad, very bad". The reason: "Look at the millions of cars they sell in the U.S. Horrible. We're going to stop that."True, there are (almost) no Chevrolets in Europe, but he does not recognize the many Fords and Opels, and he does not acknowledge that BMW, Daimler, and VW have large production facilities in the United States. A Bloomberg commentator lists the various blunders of this trip and concludes: Trump refuses to understand things that go against his deep convictions. He wants to tailor reality to them [...] Prior to that, he had curtseyed to the Saudis (after ridiculing Obama for 'bowing' to them). As one twitter user put it: Trump didn't bow like that sissy Obama. He curtseyed. But it was a very manly curtsey. And he left a note at Yad Vashem: IT IS A GREAT HONOR TO BE HERE WITH ALL OF MY FRIENDS - SO AMAZING + WILL NEVER FORGET! 2017-05-26 Various commentators have observed that the cultural gap between the U.S. and Europe is widening. Seemingly small signs are: #45 pushing aside a fellow NATO head of state, and a House candidate body slamming a reporter. There will be a lot more where that came from. The direction is: (even) more violence, (even) less solidarity. 2017-05-14 An Ohio Charter School manager says in one of John Oliver's shows: "Education is first, last, and always a business." No, it is not! Not in a civilized society! Is this guy Ferengi or what? The American Dream is the dream of winning, winning the lottery as it were. People see that other people win the lottery, and they are told: if you work hard enough and do the right thing, you will win, too. And even if they never win - which must be the vast majority - they still believe that it is OK because it "could have worked": the exact words of a toothless haggard man I once saw in an interview. And no!, it couldn't have. Because the game is rigged from the get-go. On the one hand, this is the American optimism. Never give up. Keep trying. Keep working hard. It is this optimism which makes America invincible, makes it capable of accomplishing truly incredible projects. And, on the other hand, it is a tragedy. Many of those who think they could still win, will in the end fall prey to the vilest scumbags on the planet: They will give their last dollars to psychopathic evangelical cocksuckers like Mike Murdock (or the late Gene Scott and many others) for the promise that by the grace of God it shall return to them hundredfold, which, of course, it never does. Police Departments who buy themselves costly toys from the money stolen via Civil Forfeiture. Municipal fines that get outsourced to private firms for collection so that the citizen pays 10 or 50 times the amount of his original parking ticket. And then there are payday loans, subprime mortgages, or Steve Mnuchin's "forecloure machine". Vultures! Rats! The last companions of the dreamer. And if it should happen that you are arrested for driving on an expired licence or urinating in public or some such minor misdemeanor, you are fucked. The U.S. has the world's highest per capita incarceration rate, and American prisons are institutions of vengeance and brutal retaliation, not of resocialization. Because 'losers' are worthless. The word "worth" has to be followed by a number: he is worth 10 million. A loser is worth zero. And #45 is the new and very befitting overlord of this entire tragedy. Because his followers will not be diverted fom the dream which in reality is a dystopia almost as bad already as the movies prospectively made about it. 2017-04-29 Reuters reports: President Donald Trump on Thursday reflected on his first 100 days in office with a wistful look at his life before the White House. I don't wanna play any more, Mom. Can I go home now? ...Mom? ...Mom!!? 2017-04-28 #45 has made it abundantly clear that he values the freedom to shoot people much higher than the freedom of speech. Accordingly, he will be the first president since Reagan to skip the annual White House corrspondent's dinner and speak at the NRA convention instead. Guns will be prohibited at the event! 2017-04-22 Juche is the state ideology of North Korea. For all practical purposes, it is a religion. The official website of the DPRK explains: […]The Juche idea means […] that the masters of the revolution and construction are the masses of the people and that they are also the motive force of the revolution and construction. DailyNK.com adds: The 'Ten Principles for the Establishment of the One-Ideology System' are regulations that govern the everyday lives of the North Korean people. They were officially announced by Kim Jong Il in 1974. The Ten Commandments, as it were. Here's the first three of them: 1. We must give our all in the struggle to unify the entire society with the revolutionary ideology of Great Leader Kim Il Sung. And in a booklet by Kim Jong Il (On The Juche Idea. Treatise Sent to the National Seminar on the Juche Idea Held to Mark the 70th Birthday of the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung, 1982) we are instructed thusly: In our time the masses of the people have emerged as true masters of the world, and through their struggle the world is being changed more and more to serve the masses. Today the position and role of the masses of the people as masters of the world are becoming stronger than ever before. This reality proves more patently the validity and vitality of the principle of Juche philosophy that man is the master of everything and decides everything. (p.10f.) People are "masses", and they are the masters of the world. Except that they need help with mastery and independence, hence they must slavishly depend on a leader in order to be masterfully independent. Or so. Anyway, we got ourselves a Trinity (I'd almost bet my left nut there won't be a fourth). And we have Commandments. And a theological theory that should have impressed the shit out of L. Ron Hubbard. Plus rules and rituals to shape your lives by. Very nice. Heresy, of course, means death. Apostasy probably means the kind of death a decent person couldn't even think of. The gods of this religion are the ones Shakespeare must have had in mind when he wrote "As flies to wanton boys are we to the gods. They kill us for their sport" (King Lear, IV,1). So it goes. You're setting out to be master of everything, decide everything, and before you know it you end up with a fat kid of homicidal disposition being your god. Or with a rich old fart-who is equally out of sync with reality and doesn't give a fuck about truth-being your president. 2017-04-19 So Whatshisface is deploying an "Armada, very powerful" to North Korea. Except that the [small] group of ships is going in the opposite direction heading for Australia. Spicer explains that it is going in the right direction, to North Korea: "It was heading there, it is heading there." 2017-04-19 John Oliver delivers the straight dope on "Trump vs. Truth" and on "The American Health Care Act" - which will "repeal and replace" the Affordable Health Care Act, making health care American instead of Affordable. But hey, "America First", right? The dumbasses that voted for #45 will pay through their noses for it. 2017-04-12 We are the species that has a reflexive consciousness capable of sophisticated planning, theorizing, and thinking about ourselves. And most of the time we don't know what to do with it except creating spectacular technological advances. We are like 7-year-olds with machine guns and atomic bombs. 2017-04-11 A president like Trump can have an impact even if he never manages to get a single law passed, simply by unleashing stupidity as a revolutionary force. One reporter tasked with covering the appointments says the staffing issue comes down to the same question we always have about Trump: Is this a scheme to destroy government, or cluelessness? "It's just so hard to tell," he says, "where this falls on the stupid-to-evil spectrum." ... writes Matt Taibbi in a Rolling Stone feature reviewing the 45th president's appointees for his cabinet. 2017-04-05 The king of Jordan speaks English far better than the president of the United States. How embarassing is that? 2017-03-20 The basic trick of any stage magician is to create a diversion or deflection that catches the attention of the audience and prevents them from seeing what else is going on - sometimes right before their very eyes. Nancy Pelosi called the 45th president "Deflector-in-Chief". The intricate veil has been withdrawn, though, and the deflections have become insultingly unsophisticated. While the media are busy following up on baseless allegations, something else is happening... 2017-03-19
2017-03-18 WTF - The Fake News Outlet • Today, Chancellor Merkel admitted to rigging the presidential election in order to secure her own re-election in September 2017. "I needed a real jerk next to whom I would look good", she explained. • Albanian secret service stole the only item in the president's library: • After the Dutch and German governments rejected demands by Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan to conduct rallies in their countries supporting his plans for a new authoritarian presidential constitution, the White House issued a formal invitation to address The Young Turks in America. Erdogan seemed to be caught off guard: "Who the fück is Trümp?" [...to be continued] 2017-03-17 Politico headlined about Angela Merkel's visit to the White House: The leader of the free world meets Donald Trump. They mean it! And they are not the only ones.2017-03-13/17 News on the 'Obama Tapp': "There's no question that there were surveillance techniques used," Spicer said from the White House briefing room podium on Monday. "He didn't use the NSA, he didn't use the CIA, he didn't use the FBI, and he didn't use the Department of Justice. He used GCHQ." Not only does this despicable gang accuse the preceding president of a serious crime, but also their closest ally - who has been trying so hard to suck up to them. I am almost ready to commiserate with Mrs May. Almost. GCHQ did respond unusually quickly, though ("nonsense, ridiculous, should be ignored"). The White House apologized... or did they?... no, looks like they didn't... 2017-03-03/04 I hear by demand a second investigation, after Schumer, of Pelosi for her close ties to Russia, and lying about it. [deleted after 2 minutes] I hearby demand a second investigation, after Schumer, of Pelosi for her close ties to Russia, and lying about it. I hereby demand a second investigation, after Schumer, of Pelosi for her close ties to Russia, and lying about it. Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my "wires tapped" in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism! Is it legal for a sitting President to be "wire tapping" a race for president prior to an election? Turned down by court earlier. A NEW LOW! I'd bet a good lawyer could make a great case out of the fact that President Obama was tapping my phones in October, just prior to Election! How low has President Obama gone to tapp [sic] my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy! He's reeling. 2017-03-01 How do you "drain the swamp of government corruption"? You populate your cabinet with billionaires who don't need to bribe politicians because now they are the politicians themselves. Once the spectators are blinded, the veil can be lifted from the darkness. 2017-02-25 Congratulations to Thomas Perez, who has just been named Chairman of the DNC. I could not be happier for him, or for the Republican Party! A distinctive characteristic of totalitarian leaders is their total lack of a sense of humor. Cynicism, yes, but no humor, especially not about oneself. 2017-02-24 Earlier in the afternoon, Spicer held an off-camera "gaggle" with reporters in his West Wing office, as opposed to the regular briefing in the White House briefing room. We have now begun testing the waters by excluding some of them... see how it goes. 2017-02-23 Bannon calls the media "the opposition party". (Looks like the Democrats don't even count.) The president repeatedly calls them "enemies of the people". Opposition consists of enemies of the people. Ah yes, we're getting there... "We're going to war in the South China Sea in five to 10 years, aren't we?" Mr Bannon said on his radio show in March 2016. Stephen Bannon is a very dangerous individual. He believes in destruction as a means to get to where he's headed: back to the future. 2017-02-21 What would an American businessman running a country as if it were his own company do with economically strong states or unions like, say, Europe? 2017-02-19 My statement as to what's happening in Sweden was in reference to a story that was broadcast on @FoxNews concerning immigrants & Sweden. Ah yes, a broadcast happened "last night", not in Sweden but about Sweden - like I said: it looks like he is not all there. 2017-02-18 [...] you look at what's happening last night in Sweden. Sweden, who would believe this. Sweden. They took in large numbers. They're having problems like they never thought possible. I called Sweden. Sweden said that last night they had dinner, watched some TV, and went to bed. So we're going to have a whole big situation. Yes, we are going to have a whole big situation. The situation being that apparently the president of the United States (joined by a substantial number of his followers) is not living in the same reality as the rest of us. 2017-02-17 The Senate confirmed Scott Pruitt on Friday to run the Environmental Protection Agency, putting a seasoned legal opponent of the agency at the helm of President Trump's efforts to dismantle major regulations on climate change and clean water - and to cut the size and authority of the government's environmental enforcer. The fox is now guarding the henhouse. 2017-02-17 The FAKE NEWS media (failing @nytimes, @NBCNews, @ABC, @CBS, @CNN) is not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American People! Twitler. 2017-02-19 Republican Senator John McCain commented: "That's how dictators get started." Absolutely. And the question arises: How do dictators get stopped? 2017-02-15 The real scandal here is that classified information is illegally given out by "intelligence" like candy. Very un-American! Information is being illegally given to the failing @nytimes & @washingtonpost by the intelligence community (NSA and FBI?).Just like Russia This Russian connection non-sense is merely an attempt to cover-up the many mistakes made in Hillary Clinton's losing campaign. The fake news media is going crazy with their conspiracy theories and blind hatred. @MSNBC & @CNN are unwatchable. @foxandfriends is great! Thank you, Mr. President. We now understand that the word "publish" means to write and/or broadcast something you like. Writing and broadcasting something you don't like is called "leaking". We are baffled how such a simple and straightforward fact could have eluded us. It also explains why-in your press conference with "Bibi" (Netanyahu)-you called on two "publishers" and not on any of the "leakers". The real scandal is not that Mr.Flynn most likely did something unlawful but that it got leaked and given out like candy which is very un-American. In fact it's Mexican. Bad hombres down there. We need that wall. Funny, how when you start thinking about it, everything falls into place. Thank you, again. 2017-02-11 Just leaving Florida. Big crowds of enthusiastic supporters lining the road that the FAKE NEWS media refuses to mention. Very dishonest! We humbly extend our sincerest apologies: The president, our beloved supreme leader, is just leaving Florida. Big crowds of enthusiastic supporters are lining the road. Many are crying to see him go, others are offering their babies or a banana. Chants are erupting all over: "Dear leader, we adore you. You are the blond and orange sun in our universe. You give us life." Traffic has come to a complete standstill. Everywhere people are discussing the event, some trying desperately to get to the scene in order to catch one last glimpse of the departing president. 2017-02-10 We are the best. Best ever. Believe me. We will Trump what we can, put a Bannon the rest, and proceed with the Conway after we Spicer up a little bit. 2017-02-08 It is getting difficult to keep up. Betsy DeVos, a billionaire's wifey who doesn't know her ass from third base as far as schools and education are concerned, is now Secretary of Education. Then the department store Nordstrom dropped Ivanka Trump's fashion line: My daughter Ivanka has been treated so unfairly by @Nordstrom. She is a great person -- always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible! He doesn't fucking get it!! ..and he is not going to. Arguing with the likes of him is like arguing with a conspiracy theorist. The same goes for his followers, I guess. As one commentator put it: There's no doubt Trump supporters are very loyal to him personally. Keep in mind that Trump infamously bragged that he could even shoot a person on Fifth Avenue in New York and his supporters would still be on his side. And according to a CNN/ORC poll, while Trump has only a 44% approval rating overall, 90% of Republicans think he's doing a good job. Three days after his inauguration, a late night show in the Netherlands published a hilarious spoof video that went viral quickly and triggered similar ones from most European countries and other nations around the world. However, even the world's laughter cannot entirely outweigh my sense of creepiness and dread. 2017-02-06 "Protesting has become a profession now," Spicer said. "They have every right to do that, don't get me wrong. But I think we need to call it what it is. It's not these organic uprisings that we have seen over the last several decades. The tea party was a very organic movement. This has become a very paid, Astroturf-type movement." Paid thugs is what they are, not like the tea party which was organically fertilized by the Koch brothers. 2017-02-06 The failing @nytimes writes total fiction concerning me. They have gotten it wrong for two years, and now are making up stories & sources! 2017-02-05 The NY Times wrote (among other stories concerning the 45th president): In his first days as President Trump's pick to lead the Federal Communications Commission, Ajit Pai has aggressively moved to roll back consumer protection regulations created during the Obama presidency. [...] the supposed terrorist attack in Bowling Green, Ky., that Ms. Conway, a top presidential adviser, invoked on MSNBC last week to justify President Trump's contentious travel ban never happened. (And, no, the reason you had never heard of it was not because the Dishonest Media ignored the alleged carnage at the time of its non-happening, as Ms. Conway alleged.) 2017-02-04 - 2017-02-06 A federal judge in Washington state halted the presidential travel ban for citizens of seven primarily muslim countries. The opinion of this so-called judge, which essentially takes law-enforcement away from our country, is ridiculous and will be overturned! What is our country coming to when a judge can halt a Homeland Security travel ban and anyone, even with bad intentions, can come into U.S.? Because the ban was lifted by a judge, many very bad and dangerous people may be pouring into our country. A terrible decision Just cannot believe a judge would put our country in such peril. If something happens blame him and court system. People pouring in. Bad! The judge opens up our country to potential terrorists and others that do not have our best interests at heart. Bad people are very happy! I have instructed Homeland Security to check people coming into our country VERY CAREFULLY. The courts are making the job very difficult! Any negative polls are fake news, just like the CNN, ABC, NBC polls in the election. Sorry, people want border security and extreme vetting. I call my own shots, largely based on an accumulation of data, and everyone knows it. Some FAKE NEWS media, in order to marginalize, lies! He can't get over it! 2017-02-03 We must keep "evil" out of our country! Too late.
